TARTE Amazonian Clay Waterproof Concealer in Fair
Last Tuesday, I stopped into ULTA because my holy grail mascara, Tarte’s Lights, Camera, Lashes, was on sale for $10 — I bought two right away. Additionally, if you purchased $25 worth of Tarte cosmetics, you received a free Tarte Maracuja Divine Shine lip gloss ($21). Consequently, I was also in the market for a new concealer so my favorite saleswoman, Jessica, suggested this one. She applied under my eyes to show me how fantastic it truly was. I looked at myself in the mirror and a more refreshed, awake version of myself stared back at me.
This concealer, which retails for $22, is a lightweight yet full-coverage concealer. It contains soothing and moisturizing properties to create an effortless look. It camouflages any sort of discolorations without feeling and looking heavy or cakey. Most concealers crease on me so I find it necessary to set it with a powder, but this concealer does not settle into the fine lines and wrinkles around my eyes. Another great feature is that it is waterproof. To test this, I watched The Last Song and My Sister’s Keeper…let me tell you, this concealer did not budge! Haha.
For more information, visit www.ulta.com or www.tartecosmetics.com. Tarte is one of my favorite cosmetics brands because it does not test on animals and does not contain parabens. Moreover, the products are usually composed of natural ingredients.
This is my first makeup review. I plan to do more of these in the future as I becoming increasingly interested in blogging and beauty products in general. Plus, I have a lot more time in my schedule now that I am almost done with classes! Please leave any feedback, requests, etc. Thanks!
